Dzigbodi Abla Azumah is an accomplished Chartered Insurer and Executive Director at Chromium Law. She brings a wealth of expertise in climate risk management, project management, and strategic partnership building, honed over more than a decade in the insurance industry.
Dzigbodi holds a Master of Science in Development Finance from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Resource Development with Economics from the University of Ghana (UG). Her unique proficiency in technical advisory and coordination has made her a valuable asset in the sectors she has served.
Before joining Chromium Law, Dzigbodi led the Underwriting Department at the Ghana Agricultural Insurance Pool (GAIP). During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in collaborating with financial institutions, including Ecobank, Absa, Fidelity Bank, Sinapi Aba Savings & Loans, and Opportunity International Savings & Loan, to extend agricultural insurance, thereby promoting financial inclusion in rural communities across Ghana. She also worked with development partners such as AGRA, GIZ, and Horizon Europe to develop and implement climate risk transfer solutions for farmers.
